Technical Competencies
- Liaise between stakeholders, product teams, and offshore developers to drive customer engagements — discovery workshops, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and demos.
- Develop BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria; translate insurance processes into technical specifications.
- Create wireframes, process flows, and mockups; collaborate with UI/UX and dev teams for user-centered solutions.
- Lead sprint demos, product walkthroughs, and UAT support, ensuring alignment with business goals and P&C insurance regulations/best practices.
- Act as SME for PAS/Claims modules across pre-sales, solutioning, and implementation, feeding enhancement opportunities into the product roadmap.
Desired Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
- Deep functional knowledge of Claims systems (FNOL, claims handling, adjudication, reserves, payments, subrogation, etc.).
- Experience working with insurance carriers, MGAs, or TPAs.
